“Our family worked with Mark in 2019 on a large apple orchard pruning project. We live on fifteen historic acres outside of Poulsbo with close to fifty apple trees that were planted generations ago. We were passionate about saving these apple trees which had experienced years of neglect. Before he began pruning, Mark spent the time to educate us on his approach, articulating his own passion for pruning and for the preservation of historic fruit trees. The structural and aesthetic transformation was remarkable; the next year, the trees bore more fruit than they ever had before. Mark was an absolute delight to work with, listening to us and advocating for the health of our trees. His professionalism and quality of work is exceptional.” - Stacy M.

Mark and Hannah are knowledgeable and devoted stewards of the land, and their passion for ecologically sound, restorative plant and soil care is evident in everything they do. A pear tree that hadn’t borne edible fruit for many years produced some of the best pears I’ve ever tasted after Mark worked his magic on it! Mark and Hannah are reliable, hardworking, and always happy to answer questions. They are a delight to work with, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.”
